Van Halen - Twister Soundtrack

"Humans Being" is a song recorded and contributed by the rock band Van Halen for the film, Twister. The song's lyrics proved a major source of contention, and Eddie Van Halen wanted to rewrite Sammy Hagar's lyrics, but Hagar prevailed, and the song's lyrics remained as Hagar wrote them. Hagar called his lyrics "belligerent". As a result, the song marks the last recording to feature the Sammy Hagar/Michael Anthony/Eddie Van Halen/Alex Van Halen line-up before Hagar's departure from the band in June 1996. The song reached number one on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for two weeks, becoming their eleventh chart-topper.
